We are so thrilled to share our collaboration with him and the whole Homepolish team to make this all come together.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Their chic office space in Flatiron in NYC looks nothing like a startup. With 5+ crystal chandeliers in \u003C/span>a space\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> with true NYC \u003Ca href=\"http://www.kathykuohome.com/Product/Collections/IndustrialLoft\">industrial loft\u003C/a> bones, it is the perfect mashup of modern + traditional. My favorite? The vertical hanging air plants that create a natural division between the office and front meeting area.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u003Cimg class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/Content/images_cust/userfiles/images/Blog_HomepolishPlants.jpg\" alt=\"Homepolish Plants\" data-cke-saved-src=\"http://www.kathykuohome.com/Content/images_cust/userfiles/images/Blog_HomepolishPlants.jpg\" />\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In the large open \u003C/span>loft-like\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> office, there are three greenhouse structures off to the side, which was Noa's concept for private office space. Anyone who has ever built anything in NYC knows that the Department of Building is one labor division you do not want to get involved with if possible. It was Noa's brilliant idea to bring in prefabricated greenhouses that allowed privacy for \u003C/span>closed-door\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> meetings, were easily moveable, \u003C/span>and \u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">let in a ton of light.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Here are some images of the \"prefab\" greenhouses:\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u003Cimg class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/Content/images_cust/userfiles/images/Blog_HompolishGreenhouse.jpg\" alt=\"Hompolish Greenhouse\" data-cke-saved-src=\"http://www.kathykuohome.com/Content/images_cust/userfiles/images/Blog_HompolishGreenhouse.jpg\" />\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Upon meeting Noa, we instantly connected. Ours eyes locked, and it was love at first sight. Just kidding…but I was secretly admiring his skin care regimen as the man has the most beautiful skin and it seemed that we were finishing each other's sentences by the time the meeting was over.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Noa and Lisa Bubbers, head of \u003C/span>Hompolish\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> marketing, mentioned they were throwing a spring social and asked our team to come up with a design for the interior of one of the greenhouses (since the current use as bike storage wasn't cutting it).  We immediately jumped at the opportunity for this design challenge…and there were quite a few!\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1.  The greenhouse had to blend seamlessly with the rest of the office space.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2.  No changes to the actual office space. Only to the greenhouse.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3.  There are no walls or flooring to work with. Walls are made from corrugated plexiglass.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">4.  There's not ONE right angle in that whole greenhouse, so everything needed to be retro fit on-site.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">We first came up with our concept: the HP Lounge (HomePolish Lounge - duh) and presented our design to Noa and his team.
