Given how close Folly Beach is to Charleston proper, we may have to arrange for a trip down to the \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>sandy seafront\u003C/strong> \u003C/em>during our stay in South Carolina. The couple had been coming to a tiny fishing cottage on the island for a couple of years when they spotted the 950 square-ft bungalow. Cloaked in asbestos shingles, the Folly Beach home was a bit of a sight for sore eyes, but Handegan saw its potential. \u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: left;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular; font-size: 12pt;\">They \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>snapped it up as a retreat right away\u003C/strong>\u003C/em>, and began renovating.
