I have both bar cabinet and a bar cart at my NYC apartment and after putting them to good use during Christmas and New Year's celebrations they were due for some TLC...I also recently worked with my brand team on a *gorgeous* new photo shoot and I shamelessly want to share the final pics with my cuties!
Okay I'm just going to let the pics do the talking (and also share some easy home bar organizing and refreshing tips)!These shoots are always a big team effort and they're always some of fave projects we work on here! I mean...who doesn't like to get glammed up, hang out with their awesome co-workers, and see their home look literally its absolute best? That's the dream if you ask me!

Go Ahead, Use the Fancy Glassware!
If the #Unprecedented last two years have taught me anything, it's that there's no time like the present to actually use your "fancy" things!
When I recently spruced up my home bar areas, I made sure to make all of my favorite MATCH Pewter ice buckets and pitchers (anyone who knows me can tell you that I am OBSESSED with MATCH Pewter...if I had my way, I'd have a pewter toothbrush, a pewter alarm clock...you get the picture) and my delicate champagne flutes easily accessible.
Investing in barware and glassware you love is always going to be worth it (if you're wondering about how to choose the right pieces for you, check out our Glassware Guides for wine glasses and cocktail glasses) because it's going to make the experience of enjoying your beverage of choice all the more fun.
Even if you personally don't drink alcohol, specialty glassware is still a must for mocktails, or your fave seltzer, juice, or virgin sparking cider! I even let my kiddo use mommy's special cups if they promise to be on their best behavior! Seriously: why not?!
The lesson here? Life is short--polish up the good crystal and put it front and center in your bar cabinet!

At Your Home Bar--Like in Life--Accessories Make the Look!
Obviously you need to think about your favorite drinks and proper glassware when doing a refresh on your home bar areas, but one piece of advice I swear by is to give equal consideration to all the other little accessories that really fill out a bar cabinet or bar cart.
I'm talking about bar tools, cutting boards and serving trays for garnishes, decanters and carafes, and pitchers (have I mentioned my pewter pitcher that I am totally in love with?!)...these added accessories can transform your home bar from just a storage area for your glasses and bottles into a real *experiential* part of your home.
For a final finishing touch, I personally like to add some glowing candles or vibrant flowers if I'm having a company over--whether it's one friend for a cozy at-home happy hour, or a larger gathering!
Cheers to having the prettiest and most beautifully organized home bar ever in 2022--and double-cheers to having plenty of happy occasions to celebrate as well!
