This year's Color of the Year is Greenery—an unusually bright and abrasive choice for Color of the Year, but the hue speaks to our need to explore and reinvent ourselves come spring. We'll be frank. This isn't the first color that comes to mind when creating a palette for a design project. But by having an open mind for design, we discovered how adding Greenery (or darker shades of green) to your home really does bring energy and refreshment. Try it in your accessory items, or at the very least, incorporate bright green houseplants to your space to oxygenate after the cooped-in winter months. You won't regret it!
