In case you're feeling this way too, I figured now was just the right time showcase one of our recent Design projects: An upscale—yet still warm, inviting, and relaxing—coastal-chic part-time vacation rental in Key Largo, Florida!

Laidback Luxury With Nautical Accents
Our client was looking to give a professional design refresh to his ocean-front condo in Key Largo. He and his family use the property themselves about two months out of the year and a major goal with this design project was to prepare it to go on the vacation rental market part-time.Our client has sophisticated taste and he had a clear vision of using a rustic and nautical palette, along with upscale coastal decor elements, to create a space that felt warm and inviting, but still very luxe and high-end. We worked wit our client on a variety of decorative upgrades to the living area, including new lamps, rugs, and wall art to really add that extra bit of finesse to the space."He wanted to add some pops of color inspired by the natural beauty of the Florida Keys and achieve a really timeless overall look."

A Coastal-Chic Dining Area...With Waterfront Views
Creating an authentically warm and inviting atmosphere in the dining space was key (get it key...Key Largo) to the overall success of this project. We worked with our client to bring in classic cane-back dining chairs—timeless but with just the right amount of coastal charm‚ and a statement-making glass chandelier. I love how this dining space feels equal parts open and airy, as well as totally cozy and intimate. And the best part? You just can't beat the serene view of the water from the window framing the dining table. Nothing quite beats a meal shared with loved ones...with the calming sound aura of the ocean just steps away!

Beach House-Worthy Bedroom Design
Since the intention was to put the condo on the vacation rental market, it was imperative to make sure the bedrooms were truly sanctuaries befitting the beautiful beachside location. The condo has three bedrooms and they all were in need of refresh when it came to bedding, wall art, rugs, lighting, and decor.We brought subtle, yet still statement-making lamps for the bedside tables, worked with our client on selecting new bedding to give each bedroom an ultra-luxe feeling. Seaside-inspired wall art and thoughtfully chosen rugs really tied each bedroom together with distinctive individual looks that also felt cohesive with one another and the space as a whole."It's amazing the impact that new soft goods—bedding, rugs, and decorative pillows—and new lamps can have on the overall look and feel of a bedroom design!"
